They are currently looking for an Electronics Engineer to join them in Sydney.

In this role you will;
  • Be the First Point of Contact for customers regarding technical aspects.
  • Understand customers’ needs and drive them versus the optimal solution.
  • Support and coordinate the application engineering activities during the commissioning phase.
  • Suggest improvements in product collecting information and lessons learned from field.
ENGINEERING ACTIVITIES
  • Suggesting improvement in product at 360°
  • Calibration & System Tuning
  • Diagnosis, Investigation and Problem Solving
  • Customer Technical Advisory
  • Electrical measurements
  • Mechanical measurements
  • Measurement Systems operating
  • Measurement and Elaboration Software activities
  • OS installation and configuration
  • Network configuration and diagnostic
  • Software installation and configuration
MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES
  • Manage, together the team dedicated, all the logistic issues related to the service activities (i.e. shipping of materials, responsibility of tools and spare parts stocks)
  • Provide local support for the system’s specialists
  • Coordinate and Support Engineering during Commissioning phase
  • On-field Customer Interface during commissioning phase and after sales
  • Management of spare parts on customer facilities
  • Planning and Tracking of the periodical maintenance activities
  • Planning and Tracking of the corrective maintenance activities

You will have;
  • Electronic engineering degree or equivalent background
  • Knowledge of digital electronics, signal analysis and processing, metrology, statistical data analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic devices, with at least two years of working experience railway
  • Knowledge of Windows OS
  • Knowledge LabVIEW 
  • Knowledge of Windows Networks
  • Capability of reading and understanding electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Use and knowledge of basic tools
  • Use of test equipment like oscilloscope, Signal generator, USB Blaster
  • Knowledge of main communication protocol
