The Company  

• You will be joining busy tier two builder that is has been in operation for over 30 years and employs approx. 250 people nationwide
• They specialise in projects ranging in value from $30M – $100M in the commercial / retail space with many projects from repeat clients 
• The structure is still very flat, so management are able provide hands on training from senior leadership
• The team are friendly and promote a positive working environment
• Subbies are treated as partners not just suppliers  

The Position

• Reporting into a Project Manager and working with your site team responsibilities will include overseeing the administration of the head and subcontracts, assessing variations and payments, mostly cost reporting whilst ensuring that the project is delivered on time and within budget
• You will have a dotted line report into the Commercial Manager and be offered a career pathway into Senior CA and Project Management.
• The scope of works includes the delivery of a commercial or retail project worth approx. $60M / $70M. Both projects are just kicking off.
• Salary will be dependent on experience however likely to be between $140K – $165K

Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or a related construction field.
• Experience in commercial/retail projects - $30M +
• Expertise in project financial control and procurement.
• Familiarity with systems such as Jobpac and Procore
• Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Valid drivers lic
