Position: Carpenter (2nd Fix Specialist)

Type: 3 Contract
Salary: $50 - $65 per hour

Job Description:
As a Carpenter focused on 2nd fix work, you will be responsible for completing the final stages of carpentry in our projects. Your work will ensure that all carpentry elements are fitted with precision and meet our high standards of quality. Key responsibilities include:

• Installing and finishing woodwork such as skirting boards, architraves, door frames, and internal doors.
• Fitting and securing cabinetry, shelving, and trim work.
• Working from detailed drawings and specifications to achieve accurate results.
• Conducting quality checks to ensure all work meets safety and building regulations.
• Collaborating with other tradespeople to coordinate tasks and ensure timely project completion.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter with a focus on 2nd fix work.
• Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Valid driver’s license and own tools are preferred.
