Job description

This newly created role for a Bid Coordinator plays an integral part of the team by supporting the creation and production of winning proposals, tenders, and other submissions of work. 

In this role you will support a client-centric culture by working alongside the Bid Manager and Management Leads to develop Key Client Strategies and co-ordinating the proposal submission processes, ensuring it aligns with the business strategy and development processes. 


Day to day Responsibilities:
  • Organising and facilitating proposal meetings with key internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Preparing tenders, bids, and proposals for clients, including identifying response requirements, completing associated schedules, co-ordinating input from the relevant disciplines, collating and tailoring CVs, and sourcing relevant project examples. 
  • Updating proposal content on company knowledge management  systems, including project precises and CVs. 
  • Drive the project data collection process that will provide content for precis and future bids.

About you 
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in communications, journalism, or business (although not essential).  
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience as a bid coordinator or in a similar role within a professional services environment (within engineering consultancy or contractor would be a plus) 
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, with a focus on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
