With this strategic approach, our client is seeking an Associate Director with extensive experience managing and delivering Hyperscale Data Centre (DC) projects. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic leader and work-winner to play a key role in a fast-growing industry and company. You will be tasked with leading internal and external teams while fostering strong relationships with major clients in the DC space whilst reporting directly to the National Executive Director.

Strong knowledge of MEP/HVAC services and systems, a good existing network in the DC sector, and an ambitious individual with a good approach to business is what we’re looking for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the successful delivery of Hyperscale Data Centre projects from inception to completion
• Build, mentor, and manage internal and external teams, ensuring high performance and collaboration
• Leverage and grow client connections within the Data Centre sector, with a focus on major players in the market
• Drive new business opportunities, contributing to the growth and success of the business
• Ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards, on time, and within budget
• Be able to communicate and advise engineers within the services space

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven track record managing and delivering Hyperscale Data Centre projects
• Strong relationships with key clients in the Data Centre sector, with experience working with major clients preferred – Think top 4 providers
• Deep knowledge of both construction and the mechanical services involved in DC projects – HVAC, Electrical, Ventilation etc
• Excellent leadership and team management skills – Good communicator
• Strong business acumen with the ability to win work and grow the business
• Previous experience building and managing project management teams

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 10+ years in the project management and construction sector – Head contractor, developer or Consultancy experience all acceptable.
