The Role: As an Access Consultant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our projects comply with relevant access, building, and disability regulations. You will work closely with the Managing Director and top clients to provide expert advice and guidance throughout all stages of the design and build process of class 2 – 9 buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct access audits and assessments on a variety of buildings and projects.
  • Provide expert advice on access, design, and disability codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with architects, builders, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for clients.
  • Stay up to date with current legislation and best practices in the field.
  • Provide performance solutions on-site
  • Run meetings and seminars autonomously
  • Be proficient in Excel, Word, and Adobe
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Access Consultant, ideally from an architectural background.
  • Accredited or Associate Consultant experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of access, design, and disability building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Be confident and have a can-do and motivated attitude – this is a must!
