Surveyor - Civil Construction

CGC Recruitment are recruiting Engineering Surveyors for a leading Civil Engineering contractor to work on large scale infrastructure projects throughout the Perth metro area. With multiple site locations from Yanchep to Mandurah this opportunity presents the successful candidate local work and job security within a busy sector of the civil construction industry (land development).
 
The Company:
Privately owned civils contractor who have been undergoing a period of record growth in recent years. The business specialises in the delivery of large-scale subdivision projects for their client base and have a reputation for delivering projects to the highest standards. They enjoy excellent client relationships and the luxury of repeat business which is facilitating further growth. In turn they are expanding their Surveying function. Our client is particularly keen to speak to Surveyors with a sharp eye for detail and strong civils background.
 
Duties:

• Conducting site surveys using the latest equipment (including GPS, Total Station, and 3D scanning tools)
• Collaborating with Engineers and construction teams to ensure accurate data collection and reporting
• Setting out for construction works, including earthworks, roadworks, and structures
• Producing and maintaining detailed survey records, CAD models, and as-built drawings
• Ensuring all survey work complies with company standards, client requirements, and industry regulations

 
Experience:

• Proven experience in civil or construction surveying (minimum 2–3 years)
• Proficiency in surveying software (e.g. AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Leica Infinity)
• Familiarity with GPS and robotic total stations
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant qualifications in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Valid driver’s license
