About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent (Clerk of Works) to join a client-side consultancy team in delivering a $60M high-end community project.

The successful candidate will oversee site operations, ensuring quality control and assurance, monitoring workmanship, and liaising with stakeholders to uphold project integrity. Additionally, one day per week will be dedicated to assisting with tenders for upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a critical “set of eyes on-site,” ensuring compliance with plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections, monitor construction quality, and identify any defects or deviations.
• Oversee quality control and assurance processes, ensuring high-end finishes and bespoke material specifications are met.
• Maintain detailed site records, including progress photos and reports.
• Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to fire, mechanical, and structural regulations.
• Liaise with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
• Support the tendering process for future projects on a part-time basis.

  
Ideal Candidate:

This role suits an experienced professional from a Project Management, Surveying, Site Management, Engineering, or Building background with knowledge of fire, mechanical, and structural processes and keen eye for detail.
  
Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and high-end finishes.
• Knowledge of quality control, compliance, and assurance standards.
• Ability to identify and resolve construction issues proactively.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with tendering and procurement processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or a similar field
