Job description
This Mid-Tier Civil Contractor focus on the delivery of small to medium size civil construction projects and have a proven reputation of delivering projects to quality, time and budget and have an existing client base developed over 20 years. They pride themselves on a dynamic working culture and offer a more suited work life balance than most civil contractors in the local market.
They have recently been awarded a bespoke landmark infrastructure project and as of such as in the market for an experienced Site Engineer to lead the delivery of the project. Scope of works is varied and complex consisting of Civil, Earthworks, Sewer, Drainage, Buildings and Marine Works. Reporting to a Project Engineer you will be responsible prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects. In addition to this you will perform quality control (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status. Interact daily with clients and represent them in the field.
The role will give the right applicant an opportunity to make their mark on a flagship project in the local overseeing things from contract award right though to practical completion.
Selection Criteria:
- 2+ years Civil Construction experience
- Civil Engineering degree
- Prior experience for a Tier 2 Contractor
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Driven and career motivated
