Job description
This Mid Tier Civil Contractor focus on the delivery of complex multidisciplinary civil infrastructure projects within Roads, Rail and Energy sectors. They are a family owned QLD Civil Contractor and are growing rapidly with recent project wins both as a principal contractor and specialist subcontractor packages as part of some of QLDs most iconic Infrastructure projects.
They have recently secured x3 major subcontractor packages with existing clients and as of such are actively looking to recruit x2 Senior Project Engineer to join the business on a full time basis. Projects are located 3 hours drive West of Brisbane in a regional location so an 10/4 DIDO roster from SE QLD is on offer with travel costs, accommodation and site allowance being provided by the client. Scopes of work will be a great variety across different projects and will include: bored piers, structural concrete foundations, minor earthworks, pavements and other in ground services and Tripple Blend Stabilisation, drainage, earthworks, sealing, concrete drainage structures.
As Senor Project Engineer will be responsible for:
• Development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of Project Management Plans
• Construction planning, scheduling and progress monitoring
• Design constructability and compliance reviews
• Subcontract management
• Cost Forecasting and Financial Management

Selection Criteria:
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years post graduate experience
- Prior experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Contractor
- Ability to manage subcontractors and communicate with middle management
- Driven and keen to learn
- Happy to work on a 10/4 DIDO roster
