Salary: $120,000 – 160,000 (DOE)

Are you able to lead the design and documentation of fire protection systems for various building projects, including commercial, residential, education and health developments?

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fire risk assessments and develop fire safety strategies in compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders to integrate fire protection systems into overall building designs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, technologies, and best practices in fire protection engineering.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and fire safety regulations.
- Proficiency in fire protection design software and tools.
- Professional membership or certification (e.g., CPEng, NER, MIEAust) is highly desirable.
