Location: Ryde, Office-based with weekly site visits
Duration: 4-6 months contract
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior to Mid-Level Quantity Surveyor to join our team for an exciting 4-6 months contract. The successful candidate will work on large residential projects, providing support across various stages of the project lifecycle. This position is office-based in Ryde, with a requirement to visit the site once a week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cost management, including estimating and budgeting for large residential projects.
- Prepare and manage tender documents, contracts, and variations.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring projects remain within budget.
- Liaise with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Provide accurate and timely reports on project progress, costs, and variations.
- Utilise Cubit or Cost X systems to prepare detailed cost estimates and measurements.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure cost control procedures are being followed.
- 2-4 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally within the residential sector.
- Proficient in Cubit or Cost X systems.
- Strong understanding of cost control, budgeting, and procurement.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
