Job description

Aboriginal owned contractor who specialise in the delivery of road construction and earthmoving projects.

We have a requirement for a Project Manager with an extensive background working on MRWA projects on a 4 month contract. The project is located 50km East of Karratha on a FIFO 2:1 roster. Responsible for project execution and delivery, whilst utilising your experience in Civil Construction Industry.

The Role

Liaise with clients on project matters and construction methodology and plans
Liaise with subcontractors to ensure compliance with all contractual requirements
Ensure the project is managed in accordance with contractual obligations
Allocate project resources in accordance with project budgets and reconciliations
Proactively provide input in support in the maintenance of a safe workplace

Skills Required

At least 8 years’ experience working for a main contractor with a strong background working on MRWA projects
Sound knowledge and understanding of MRWA standards and specifications
Experience across road construction, civil earthworks and associated disciplines
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, and construction techniques

Criteria

Full Australian working rights
A valid driver’s licence
Ability to complete satisfactory pre-employment medical.
