CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors and have again been approached by one of our clients to source a Site based Project Engineer to provide immediate support on a recently awarded project in Cairns.
 
Reporting to a Senior Project Engineer you will responsible for; resource planning, developing construction methodologies, administering contracts, managing subcontractors and managing project risk. Scope of works include, Civil, Drainage, Minor Earthworks, Road Resurfacing. 
 
The project is in its infancy and is an immediate requirement fort an initial 6 week period to cover for internal staff. However as the project has just kicked off it can easily progress into a full time position on a 2 year local project.
 
This role is ideally suited to a Project Engineer who might be in between projects and currently available or for a young Engineer keen to travel and pick up some key local experience with one of Australia's most reputable Civil Contractors. Engineers currently on a 417 Working Holiday Visa will be encouraged to apply.
