Project Engineer required for a Mid Tier Construction Contractor

The Client:

Mid-tier contractor, privately owned
Mainly Sydney metro based
60-70 employees
Down to Earth, flat management style structure, quick decision-making processes & open-door policy
Family orientated, monthly bbq’s, partners invited to most social events, wellbeing days, company team into city 2 surf
Will considering working holiday VISAs for the right candidate

The Role:

Liaise with design and construction teams to manage and distribute information efficiently
Manage changes to engineering design
Manage the changes of the scope of work in line with budgets and forecasts
Assist Contracts Manager/Administrators to prepare sub contract packages
Manage subcontractor progress and support resolution of any commercial matters
Maintain awareness of contractual obligations
Assist the management team to create and implement program management, tracking a 6 month look ahead
Review design to assess and ensure its compliance with requirements of regulatory authorities
Undertake programming, planning and forecasting to ensure construction activities take place within overall construction program
Will be assigned to one site and have a Setting Out Engineer working alongside you

What you'll need to be successful in the role:

Salary circa $125,000 - $150,000 for the right candidate.
