Project Engineer - Civil Construction and Remediation

The company specialises in the delivery of remediation and environmental projects across the defence, mining and resources sectors. Typical projects range between $10m - $100m in value and involve civil construction scopes including bulk / detailed earthworks, piling, concrete, excavation, earthmoving, soil remediation etc.
 
They are actively seeking a Project Engineer to work on a largescale project in Port Hedland which involves bulk earthworks and treatment of contaminated soil for a leading tier one mining client. While supporting the successful delivery of civil and remediation projects throughout WA, this integral role will manage the day-to-day delivery of projects while maintaining strong relationships and ensuring company safety, quality and financial targets are achieved. 
 
Candidate Criteria:
 

• A degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
• 4+ years construction experience specialising in the management of civil, remediation or environmental projects.
• Contract and budget management experience.
• Experience working for a main contractor within civil construction (earthworks and excavation).
• BHP experience / tickets (desirable).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Project.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with the ability to develop relationships with team members, clients and contractors to ensure excellence in project delivery.
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
• Ability to work on a 9:5 FIFO roster.
• Valid driver's license.

• $130k - $150k base salary (dependent on candidate experience and seniority)
