Project Engineer - Civil Construction and Remediation
CGC Recruitment are in partnership with Australia’s leading environmentally focussed civil contracting business. The company specialises in the delivery of remediation and environmental projects across the defence, mining and resources sectors. Typical projects range between $10m - $100m in value and involve civil construction scopes including bulk / detailed earthworks, piling, concrete, excavation, earthmoving, soil remediation etc.
They are actively seeking a Project Engineer to work on a largescale project in Port Hedland which involves bulk earthworks and treatment of contaminated soil for a leading tier one mining client. While supporting the successful delivery of civil and remediation projects throughout WA, this integral role will manage the day-to-day delivery of projects while maintaining strong relationships and ensuring company safety, quality and financial targets are achieved.

Candidate Criteria:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
- 4+ years construction experience specialising in the management of civil, remediation or environmental projects.
- Contract and budget management experience.
- Experience working for a main contractor within civil construction (earthworks and excavation).
- BHP experience / tickets (desirable).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Project.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with the ability to develop relationships with team members, clients and contractors to ensure excellence in project delivery.
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
- Ability to work on a 9:5 FIFO roster.
- Valid driver's license.

- $130k - $150k base salary (dependent on candidate experience and seniority)
