The Role
Due to business growth, we are looking for an experienced, Safety Advisor to join our NSW Safety Team in Sydney.
The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the WHS Manager but working alongside the Head of Construction to ensure the safety of all employees and contractors on our sites.
The client has 500 dwellings secured to be delivered this financial year
Role and Responsibilities:

Role and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Work Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems (WHSMS), Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and assist with its compliance to State Legislation of Safety using our infield App and industry leading software applications.
- Working with the NSW Safety Manager to complete reporting on WHS performance and provide WHS advice to trades, Building Supervisors, Area Building Managers.
- Identify WHS training requirements for staff and subcontractors.
- Assist with assessment of subcontractor onboarding documentation and safety inductions.
- Complete incident reporting and investigations as necessary.
- Continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of safety across all aspects of the business and enhance the productivity of the overall WHS function.
- Conduct Safety Inductions with staff and subcontractors.
- Conduct and audit Toolbox Talks.
- Complete and audit onsite risk assessment and hazard identification.
- Assist in risk mitigation strategies and monitoring procedures.
- Certificate IV or higher in WHS
