Opportunity
Award-winning Tier 2 builder requires an immediate contract site manager for a challenging $10M educational new build and refurb project in Wallan (45 kms north of Melbourne CBD).
This is an outstanding opportunity to take ownership of a key project and work with a respected builder on a large-scale educational facility.
This 12 + month contract role will provide the chance to work for a nationally recognised mid-tier builder, offering career stability and future long-term project opportunities.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Manager and/or General Foreman with a head contractor
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or related field
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in educational projects, highly desirable
- Comfortable and confident in both structures and fit out
- Trade background (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing) highly desirable
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the entire build, ensuring it is executed within budget, timeline, and to the client's specifications
- Coordinate with various stakeholders including architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor progress and quality of work on-site, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
- Manage and motivate a team of workers, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards
