About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Factory Foreman to lead a commercial joinery production team based in Condell Park. In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee the manufacturing process, ensure quality control, and drive efficiency in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the joinery workshop, ensuring production deadlines are met.
• Manage and coordinate a team of joiners, machinists, and apprentices.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate manufacturing.
• Ensure all work meets high-quality craftsmanship standards and project specifications.
• Maintain a safe and organised workshop, enforcing health and safety regulations.
• Liaise with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure smooth workflow.
• Manage inventory levels and order materials as required.
• Train and mentor workshop staff, improving skills and productivity.

Requirements 

• Proven experience as a Factory Foreman or Workshop Supervisor in a commercial joinery setting.
• Strong technical knowledge of joinery, wood machining, and cabinetry.
• Ability to read and understand CAD drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
