Position: Senior Contract Administrator (3-month Contract)
Location: Sydney, NSW
Overview: Join a dynamic Tier 2 builder in Sydney as a Senior Contract Administrator for a focused 3-month contract. This role is pivotal in overseeing procurement activities across two significant projects, ensuring efficient contract management and procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage procurement activities across two concurrent projects, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and project timelines.
  • Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to streamline procurement processes and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable and aligned with project requirements.
  • Monitor procurement budgets and expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
  • Prepare and administer contract documents, including variations, claims, and final accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and stakeholders to resolve any procurement-related issues swiftly and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Contract Administrator or similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and contract management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar field.
  • Cheops and Aconex systems 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
