Salary: $160,000 – 200,000 + Super

Position Overview:
Our client is a highly regarded Tier 2 Building Services Consultancy with a strong presence across NSW, they are known for their collaborative work environment and commitment to professional development.
As they expand into the Newcastle area, the Building Services Team Lead will play a pivotal role in leading and managing a multidisciplinary team of engineers. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects, from inception to completion, ensuring they meet client expectations and industry standards. Your engineering expertise, coupled with your experience in winning and delivering work, will be essential in driving the team's success and contributing to the growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers across the four key Building Services disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Fire.
  • Oversee the delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the growth and success of the consultancy.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project reviews.
Key Requirements:
  • A degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, or Fire).
  • 10+ years of experience in Building Services.
  • Proven track record in winning work and delivering successful projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficient in project management, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
