The Company
Long-standing construction Project Management & Advisory consultancy specialising in social infrastructure projects. Ranging from major global sporting events, to education, social housing, aged care and health/hospitals.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager. In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal role in leading the successful delivery of social infrastructure projects across Brisbane and wider Queensland. This is more than just a project management role; you will have the unique opportunity to build a dedicated team and business unit around you, shaping its direction and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for social infrastructure projects, from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, architects, engineers, contractors, and community groups.
  • Proactively identify and secure new social infrastructure projects, leveraging your expertise and relationship-building skills.
  • Build and lead a high-performing project management team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Develop and implement effective project plans, budgets, and risk management strategies.
  • Oversee project contracts, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare clear and concise project reports for senior management and stakeholders.
You are the Ideal Candidate if You Have:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, preferably within the social infrastructure sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to scope.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and relevant Australian building codes and standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach with a focus on business development.
  • Excellent project management skills, including experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
