The company
Our client has been operating for over 9 years and was founded in Victoria and now also have a foot print in SEQLD. Their specialist sector is retail but they operate in multiple sectors with their project ranging from a $4M refurb to a $30M new build.

Their QLD offices are at the northern end of the Gold Coast where you will be based.

We are looking for a Junior/Intermediate Estimator to join the QLD business where you will be working closely with the Senior Estimator in the QLD team.
  
About the Role:
In this exciting role, you will play a vital role in the pre-construction phase of their projects. You will be responsible for:

• Preparing accurate and competitive takeoffs and bills of quantities
• Analysing tender documents and specifications
• Conducting market research and cost analysis
• Contributing to the development of cost estimates and budgets
• Liaising with subcontractors to obtain quotes
• Assisting with project tender submissions
• Maintaining accurate estimating records

What you'll bring:

• Minimum 2-5 years' experience as an Estimator with a known builder
• An understanding of construction materials, methods, and costs
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Ideally have had exposure to Cost X
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and results-oriented approach
